Every election has its unique excitement and suspense, and 2020 is no exception. We’ll let you, our reader, draw your own conclusions about what makes this election distinct. For our part, we’re excited to share an important new development within Voter Information Project (VIP) itself!

If you haven’t visited VIP recently, check out our new homepage. We’re excited to introduce it just in time for Nebraska’s 2020 Primary Election! This is our first major redesign since the current site was created in 2012. The rest of the site is slated for updates as soon as we can secure the remaining funds.

The recently-formed promotions team had big ideas for connecting with newcomers to the site. We reached for bids with a tall order--bring our site up-to-date in a way that connects with new visitors, while preserving all that our longtime users value.

DayCloud Studios, our selected provider, has proven up to the task. We love the bright energy and color (still red, white, and blue!), not to mention the friendly flow of the page. We are looking forward to what’s in store for the rest of the site!
