Office holders determine how tax dollars are utilized in the college system. They are providing a local college for the community and surrounding counties, including high schools that utilize dual credit classes.

Duties and Responsibilities

Employ executive, administration, faculty, and classified (clerical/technical/maintenance,etc.) staff. Approve bids for college improvements and projects. Establish tuition/fees for each school year. Approve monthly and yearly bills for all college expenses. Ensure the curriculum follows the Coordinating Commission for Postsecondary Education Act.
