Requirements for the position
Registered voter in the district, no financial/business connections to the Transit Authority
Other information
Ideally, a board member would have either direct or closely indirect experience in public transportation use.
Term of office
For odd-numbered districts, 2 years to start, will be 4 years after next election. Even numbered districts have a 4yr term.
Partisan?
Non-partisan
When election is held
Odd-numbered districts are voted on with governor elections, even-numbered districts are voted on with presidential elections.
