The Board sets the electric rates, which directly impact how much customers pay each month for electricity. Decisions made by the board also impact the reliability of the electric grid.

Duties and Responsibilities

Identify and define the vision and mission of the power distict, establish the strategic directives, and communicate them in the form of policy. Appoint, evaluate, and when necessary, discharge the President and Chief Executive Officer. Serve as representatives of OPPD’s customer-owners. Monitor stakeholder processes.
