Requirements for the position
Registered voter, resident of the district, no interest in any common carrier or jurisdictional utility, must not hold any other office, federal or state or other state. Must not engage in any other occupation while in office.
Other information
This position is highly technical. You should have foundations in governance, with knowledge in law, infrastructure, and physics. Additionally, a background in utility, infrastructure, gas, electricity, water, or telecommunications is very helpful.
Term of office
6 years
Partisan?
Yes; candidate nominated by party.
When election is held
There are five geographical commission districts. Commissioners are elected for six-year terms.
