Requirements for the position

Must be a registered voter. Must be a citizen of the United States. Must be a resident of the village.

Other information

Villages range in population from 100 to 800. After 800 they may become a city, but may also choose to remain a village until the population reaches 5000 when they must become a city.

4 years

When election is held

Since there are 5 members of the board, every other election year switches between electing 2 or 3.
