~2011 received the Nebraska Secretary of State's Civics Recognition Award~

Who We Are:

Voters Information Packet is a non-profit, non-partisan group of volunteers dedicated to offering Nebraska voters a basis for informed voting.

(We center most efforts in the major metropolitan counties.)

We Provide You the Voter:

  • Candidates' stances in their own words
  • Information from those who have professional contact with the judges
  • Legislative and citizen initiative issues as they appear on the ballot
  • Other relevant data as available

Information Presented Here Contains:

  • No editing  (except minor spelling corrections)
  • No interpreting
  • No campaigning

How We Work:

We try to contact all candidates by phone (or letter when we can't locate a phone number).

We offer candidates a chance to respond verbally, by e-mail, or by snailmail to our "Political Views and Personal Values" questionnaires.  We want to know the person behind the policy.

We include quotes from every candidate who responds, and biographical information if provided.

We interview lawyers, law enforcement personnel and others who have contact with the judges to add to the biographical information we can locate on the judges.
